Buying intelligence for specialty retail.

The buy is the easy part. The spreadsheet isn't.

Every season you come back from market with a stack of PDFs, emails, and hangtag photos. Then someone spends the next week turning them into a Shopify import spreadsheet. Usually someone who wasn't even there. ThreadCloud turns your POs into complete Shopify product records directly. No middleman, no translation, no lost context. Supplier PDFs, order confirmations, hangtag photos, fabric notes. You review. You don't type.

Built inside a working multi-brand menswear store.

Two operators at the buying table inside Blazer for Men, fabric swatch books and supplier materials in front of a wall of jackets.

Why this exists

I built ThreadCloud for my own store.

I'm Gregory Lalonde. I run Blazer for Men, a multi-brand menswear store. Forty brands a season. Italian tailoring, American sportswear, footwear, the mix that makes managing a catalog hard.

Every market I come home with the buy and lose weeks to data entry. And if I'm not doing it, the guys receiving will. Writing descriptions for jackets I last touched months ago. A stockroom filling up, while half the products still aren't in Shopify yet. Customers walking by a room with sealed boxes of new products. We told ourselves it was 'just how it was.' Everyone in specialty retail does it.

ThreadCloud is what I built so that stops. Bring back whatever you have from your buys. Supplier PDFs, order confirmations, hangtag photos, scribbled notes. They come out as reviewed POs, Shopify products that read like a buyer wrote them, and receiving that takes two clicks on the floor. You review. The typing stops being yours.

One buy, end to end

From handwritten or PDF order to a live product.

Scribbled or supplier-sent. From the order at the appointment, ThreadCloud extracts and builds you a PO. A few more guided clicks to a Shopify product the customer reads. All of the codes, calculations, and budgeting is done for you.

The page that lands on your storefront.

Description, attributes, metafields. ThreadCloud writes the page in your store's voice. You dial in the voice once.

Gabo Napoli

Navy superfine wool blazer

Loro Piana's Jersely fabric brings a milled, substantive hand to this navy blazer, with a discreet comfort stretch woven into the superfine wool for ease through the shoulders and chest.

The half-lining and two-button notch lapel keep the construction clean and uncluttered, reading as business-appropriate without formality for its own sake.

Cut to a regular silhouette, it sits well over a fine-gauge rollneck for a client lunch in late October, when the temperature drops and the room expects you to look like you planned it.

Or start with what you have

Years of Shopify drift. Cleaned in place.

Most stores aren't starting fresh. ThreadCloud reads existing Shopify products, previews cleaner categories, filters, and size logic, and lets you approve every change before it publishes. Every apply is reversible.

The real questions

What buyers actually ask.

Honest answers, including the ones that make a pre-launch product look pre-launch.

/01

What happens when the AI gets it wrong?

+

ThreadCloud extracts the first pass. You review, edit, and approve at every step. Nothing is sent to a supplier or published to Shopify until a buyer signs off. The AI handles the typing. The buyer handles the judgment.

/02

Is this just for menswear?

+

Built around menswear today, because that's the store I run. Womenswear is in scope. Size scales, fabric, fit, and occasion translate cleanly. Other verticals come on as catalogs ask.

/03

Who else is using ThreadCloud?

+

One store. Mine. Blazer for Men is running ThreadCloud as a real workflow, not a demo. That's by design. The product gets sharpened by daily use before it's sold. If you're reading this and run a multi-brand specialty store, you'll be among the first outside customers.

/04

How long until I'm onboarded?

+

Onboarding starts with a single supplier and a single buy. Most of the value comes from one parse, one PO, and one Shopify product going live the way you'd want it. Days, not weeks.

/05

What about the four thousand products I already have?

+

Legacy enrichment reads what's already in Shopify, previews cleaner categories, filters, and size logic, and lets you approve changes before publishing. Every apply is reversible. You don't have to migrate anywhere.

/06

Does my data get trapped inside ThreadCloud?

+

No. ThreadCloud writes to your Shopify catalog. Products, variants, metafields, and filter values live in Shopify, not in a closed system. If you stop using ThreadCloud, your catalog stays where it is.
